DINING & ACTIVITIES
Feel free to bring your own ingredients and cook for yourselves, whether over an open fire or at the indoor kitchen. Alternatively, we can bring you a breakfast/lunch basket or drive you to nearby islands for dinner.
Activities range from aquatic explorations to relaxation on the island. Enjoy kayaking and island hopping, relax in the sauna and natural hot tub, and take refreshing swims in the sea.
Here, your only task is to light the sauna. But when you’re done with that, the island offers plenty of ways to reconnect with nature—and with yourself:

Hop on a boat and discover local restaurants. Enjoy fresh, local flavors accessible only by boat, adding a touch of magic to your island stay. Boat rides are quoted separately.

Breakfast and lunch
Breakfast and lunch can be prepared fresh and delivered to the island when you feel like taking it easy. The food is local, seasonal, and designed to keep things simple and good. Let us know in advance, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Meals can be added to your stay for an additional cost. You can reserve them in advance when booking or simply ask anytime during your stay.
Relax
No background noise. Just space to breathe. Prackstenen is built for the kind of rest that doesn’t come with Wi-Fi. Quiet mornings, long saunas, salty skin, and the sound of trees creaking in the wind.
Island hopping
We can organise boat trips around the archipelago. There are many incredible places nearby, both suitable for day trips or overnight adventures. Popular destinations include Bengtskär (20 min)—the tallest and the most beautiful lighthouse in the Nordics; Örö (10 min)—an ex-military island with a guest harbour, a restaurant, nature and various services, and Aspö (60min)—an idyllic island with a tiny village where you can buy fresh fish from the sea.
Boating & Kayaking
Kayaking is a great way to explore the nearby islands from the water. With Finland’s “Right of Public Access”, you’re allowed to land anywhere you want, as long as you don’t disturb anyone. Kayaks can be rented for 50€/day.
Sauna & the sea
Heating the the hot tub is enough of a program for a relaxed day on the island. There’s no limit to how many times you can go between a plunge in the sea and a sauna session. Find more information the the facilities section.
Bengtskär light house
A short boat ride away, Bengtskär rises from the sea like something out of a story. The tallest lighthouse in the Nordics, built to endure storms and solitude.
Rental boat
Our rental boat is the Sandström 565 with a 60hp engine. Its modern navigation system, with pre-marked paths, makes it easy and safe to drive. A short introduction course is included in price of rental. Max 6 people, life vests included.
600€/day includes a full tank (50 liters) of gas & insurance.
